Simple Pudding

Simplest of pudding types that can be extended and scales well with number of people

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup milk

Steps

  • You can multiply ingredients depending on the number of servings
  • Put a souce pan (or any deep pan) over mid heat
  • Put sugar and flour in the pan and mix stir them with a spatula
  • If sugar starts to melt or it starts to get yellow/brownish add milk
  • Stir until the mixture is viscous enough that you can see the bottom of the pan when stirring
  • Turn off the stove and keep stirring for 1-2 mins so bottom does not burn from preheat

Notes

  • Read legend for any term you are unsure about
  • Amounts are for 1 person serving so you can multiply them with number of servings
  • You can add vanilla or lemon zest (see legend) but add them after milk
